Thirsty Thursday - Let's Get Naked!

I find myself traveling quite a bit between visiting family and friends, then finding balance by getting settled in back at home to refocus and get back into routine.  As you can probably tell by now, keeping on top of my nutrition is a big thing for me and it has been a bit of a struggle when I don't have the comforts of my own kitchen (where I spend much of my time at home).  All that I think about for the first week I'm away from my humble abode is, "DAMN I miss my juicer!"  In my recent experiences with being away from home (and my juicer) for extended periods of time, I have grown to love trying all the variety of flavor Naked Juice offers.  Here are some of my favorites for when you too are on the road.
kale blazer
I will admit... phew! This one stinks! But, if you can get past the smell, it's actually quite delicious and very nutritious.  The kale blazer is a great way to get your fill of the nutrients which come from dark leafy greens. The bitterness of these greens is masked by the citrusy flavors of orange, lemon, and ginger which give it a very refreshing taste, making it perfect to have midday to accompany a small entree.
protein & greens (similar flavor pictured)
I was a huge fan of Naked's Protein Zone and vegetable juices for quite some time, so when I saw this wonderful concoction sitting on the shelf in the grocery story, I just had to try it.  I love the idea of being able to get in some veggies and protein post-run or workout in one drink instead of drinking a protein shake and eating a salad or drinking a vegetable juice.  Needless to say, Naked just seems to read my mind.
power-c machine
Probably the most delicious Naked Juice I have ever had.  The exotic flavors of guava and mango make this one a favorite of mine.  It's great to drink in the mornings, rather than your usual, boring orange juice, and still reap the benefits of the jolt of energy which comes from the citrus in the juice, and all the vitamin C you need.
berry veggie
All I can say is yum yum yum!  With the first sip of this juice, you would never guess that it's packed with so many vegetables.  Beets are one of my favorite vegetable to put in juices because of the high amount of iron they contain - something I always need to keep my energy levels high - and their unique taste and sweetness.  This juice contains just the right amount of beet, sweet potato, and berry juices.  It has inspired many of the recipes I try with my own juicer.

In my humble opinion, sweat and a smile are the sexiest things a person can wear.
